Boot (G1791657) / Installation
Installation
CAUTION:
Extreme cleanliness must be exercised when handling these
components.
Clean and inspect the components for deterioration.
CAUTION:
Make sure that a new outer joint boot is to be installed.
Renew Part: Outer constant velocity joint boot kit.
Pack the outer CV joint with the grease supplied.
CAUTION:
Make sure that a new retaining clips are to be installed.
NOTES:
- Make sure that the outer CV joint boot is correctly
installed.
- Make sure that the retaining clips are correctly installed.
Using the special tool secure the CV joint boot clips.
Special Tool(s): 100-050
NOTE:
Make sure that new retaining clip and inner joint boot are to
be installed.
NOTE:
Make sure that the component is installed to the noted
removal position.
NOTE:
Make sure a new retaining ring is to be installed.
NOTE:
Make sure that the component is installed to the noted
removal position.
CAUTION:
Make sure that the retaining ring is correctly located.
- Pack the CV joint with the grease supplied.
NOTE:
Make sure a new retaining ring is to be installed.
