Vehicles equipped with the 'remote' Navigation Control Module (NCM) are
supplied with either a DVD or SD memory card map update which is loaded
into and left in the NCM. Map data is read directly fr

All Gen 2.1 equipped vehicles are supplied with a USB map updates, these
updates can be performed by the customer.
The following process should be used to update the map data:

Installation
CAUTION:
Extreme cleanliness must be exercised when handling these
components.
Clean and inspect the components for deterioration.
CAUTION:
Make sure that a new outer joint boot is to be installed.
Renew Part: Outer constant velocity joint boot kit.
Pack the outer CV joint with the
12 Volt Midtronics EXP-1080 JLR Diagnostic Battery Charger
