REMOVAL

NOTES:

  • Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

WARNING:

Make sure to support the vehicle with axle stands.

Raise and support the vehicle.

Remove the accessory drive belt.

Refer to: Accessory Drive Belt (303-05B Accessory Drive - INGENIUM I4 2.0L Diesel, Removal and Installation).

Remove the crankshaft pulley.

Refer to: Crankshaft Pulley (303-01C, Removal and Installation).

INSTALLATION

CAUTION:

Make sure that the surface is clean and free of foreign material.

NOTE:

Do not fully tighten the bolts at this stage.

Install the crankshaft pulley.

Refer to: Crankshaft Pulley (303-01C, Removal and Installation).

Torque: 12 Nm

Torque: 48 Nm

Torque: 25 Nm

Install the accessory drive belt.
