ADJUSTMENT
Transmission mounting
WARNING:
Do not work on or under a vehicle supported only by a jack.
Always support the vehicle on safety stands.
Raise and support the vehicle.
Using a suitable hydraulic jack, support the transmission.
CAUTION:
Take extra care when installing the component.
Torque: 25 Nm
CAUTION:
Take extra care not to move the transmission mounting.
Torque: 80 Nm
Engine mounting
Using a suitable hydraulic jack, support the engine.
Torque: 80 Nm
Do not install the engine upper support insulator at this point.
NOTE:
Loosen the bolt, but do not remove.
Start the engine.
CAUTION:
Make sure that NEUTRAL is selected before starting this
procedure.
NOTE:
Petrol engine shown, diesel engine similar.
Apply the accelerator pedal a minimum of 3 applications in quick
succession, to settle the engine into the correct position.
Turn off the engine.
Torque: 110 Nm
Torque: 110 Nm
Torque:
Stage 1: 50 Nm
Stage 2: 180º

Dress the flanges where necessary.
Offer up the new rear floor side extension and clamp into position.
Check alignment if correct, proceed to next step, if not, rectify and
recheck before proceeding.
NOTE:
Make sure the holes are drilled through the side member and
the rear floor
COMPONENT REMOVAL
Whenever possible, clean components and the surrounding area before
removal.
Blank off openings exposed by component removal.
Following disconnection, seal fuel, oil or hydraulic lines immediately
using
suitable blanking plugs or caps.
