Fuel Charging and Controls - Ingenium i4 2.0l Diesel Fuel Rail (G1875959) Removal and Installation

REMOVAL

WARNINGS:

  • Place the vehicle in a well ventilated, quarantined area and arrange ' No Smoking/Petrol Fumes' signs about the vehicle.
  • Avoid flames, sparks or lighted substances.
  • Be prepared to collect escaping fuel.
  • It is imperative that new high pressure fuel pipes are always installed.

CAUTION:

Before disconnecting or removing the components, make sure the area around the joint faces and connections are clean. Plug open connections to prevent contamination.

NOTES:

  • Some variation in the illustrations may occur, but the essential information is always correct.
  • Some components shown removed for clarity.

All vehicles

WARNING:

Make sure to support the vehicle with axle stands.

Raise and support the vehicle.

Disconnect the battery ground cable.
