  1. Refer to: 'A' Pillar Trim Panel (501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and Installation).
  2. Refer to: 'B' Pillar Upper Trim Panel (501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and Installation).
  3. Refer to: 'C' Pillar Upper Trim Panel (501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and Installation).
  4. Refer to: 'D' Pillar Trim Panel (501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and Installation).
  5. Refer to: Overhead Console (501-12 Instrument Panel and Console, Removal and Installation).
  6. Refer to: Interior Rear View Mirror (501-09 Rear View Mirrors, Removal and Installation).

NOTE:

Note the orientation of the seal prior to detaching.

Position cloth to collect fluid spillage.

CAUTION:

Take extra care not to damage the component.

CAUTIONS:

  • Take extra care not to damage the component.
  • Using a suitable plastic trim tool, release the magnetic fixings.

NOTES:

  • Discard the retaining clips.
  • Make sure that there is at least 50mm clearance between the magnetic fixings and the headliner during the removal procedure. The fixings will engage if too close to each other.

Renew Part: Retaining clips.

NOTES:

  • Headliner shown removed for clarity.
  • This step requires the aid of another technician.

  • Lower the headliner for access.

Torque: 3.5 Nm

INSTALLATION

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
